Cookie Policy
Last updated July 2026
1. The short version
GAMR uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, plus — only if you say yes — one optional random identifier for anonymous usage analytics. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, and no session-recording tools.
2. Strictly necessary (always on)
These make the site work and don't need consent:
Sign-in cookies (set by Supabase auth) keep your account session alive. Local lesson progressis saved in your browser's storage so you never lose your place, even offline. Your consent choiceitself is stored so we don't ask you on every visit.
3. Optional analytics (only with your consent)
If you choose "Allow" in the consent banner, we create one random identifier (gamr-visitor-id) in your browser and record product events like "lesson opened" or "hint used" against it. It contains nothing about who you are. If you also use Google Analytics consent, Google's _ga cookies may be set with IP anonymization and advertising features disabled. Declining or later withdrawing consent deletes the identifier, stops all sending, and removes GA cookies we control.
4. Changing your mind
Open "Cookie & privacy settings" in the footer of any page to change your choice at any time. Declining never limits any feature of GAMR.
5. More detail
The Privacy Policy describes exactly what analytics events contain and what we deliberately never collect (your code, passwords, drafts, IP addresses in events, fingerprinting). Questions: privacy@gamr.dev.
